I want to start getting more traffic to the site to and make the most of it while we have it. We can turn what has happened around, and we don't need a massive amount of people to do so. I am looking for a few individuals that are dedicated enough to meet the team requirements and accompany us to when we go to different fields and games. I would like to start getting everyone to SP so we can get some recognition out there. I also would like to collect dues too since the ad service takes so long since we have almost no traffic. What I am thinking is about $10 every three months or so. This way we can pay for BBs, patches, green gas, and other team related items that we might like to have. Of course, you will be responsible for acquiring your own equipment as paying for other people's stuff is too much of a financial burden for such a small team. I will be taking more of an initiative to step up and manage this team as I have been too lax in the past. That needs to end. I would like more management and better regulation so that we can actually function. Practices will also be designed differently so that you actually learn something. I will go over some basic tactics and then we will play a few games, and end the day with a scenario.

We also should try to promote airsoft in our area by placing fliers or what have you. I don't care if little kids want to come play with us either. They will not be on the team of course, but they will be something to shoot at. Also, I want to put an age restriction for people who are looking to join the team. I would like it to be 16+ since 16 year olds are old enough to go to events without the need for parental permission, and they tend to be more mature. Even though I am looking for five people, having a few more would be ideal as not everyone can make every game. Just let me know what you think by posting in the thread above. Thanks.

After a small financial snag we are happy to announce that the site is back online. Everything is still in place and nothing has been changed; so fear not.

There is going to be a MANDATORY game on July 9th, a Wednesday. There will also be a rain date in case something such as rain or the clouds deciding to attack that day. The rain date will be on the 12th if such events decide to occur. The game time will be from 2PM to 7PM and we will meet at Drummer's new house. (PM Soliden for the address). Make sure that you bring your weapon, BBs, charged batteries, something to eat and drink, and gear. We will have a small briefing before we play as well.

Welcome those of you that have show an interest in joining |FH| Foxhound. We are becoming a more effective force in the Connecticut airsoft community so keep it up! I\'d like to thank you all so far. We should be holding a big practice sometime soon this month and I plan on having some small ops that we can do to make the games more exciting. Keep checking the site for more information about that.

I also made a few small site updates. The first update is the new HQ. It is still currently being worked on at the moment so disregard it for now. The second update is 3 custom avatars that I made and added to the site for everyone\'s use. Here they are:



You can access these via the settings option on the left. Then procede down to where you uploaded your avatar. Click on the button below that and select one of these if you\'d like to. I\'ll be adding more later on, but right now I\'ve been pretty busy with school work... Essay this, test that, ad nauseum.

Ok, enough obscure references to Portal. I'd like to start this off by saying we are getting the ball rolling again. We just started accepting applications once more and we are currently looking for 8 players to fill our gaps so we can create a fearsome airsoft force in western Connecticut. There's going to be several games coming up in the summer that we would like to attend, and as they say, "the more the better." Currently we have our sights set on OP: Red Star .

On a side note, the |FH| HQ has been updated to more accurately represent where we are as a team in terms of players. The forums have also been updated with several topics to make it more community orientated. We also have ad sense on our site brought you by the lovely folks at Google™. Clicking on them every now and then will give the team some revenue, but please DON'T go overboard because we could have the account suspended.

I spent about an hour adding in new plugins that will make the site a lot more efficient as well as making it more organized. Below is a few things that I added as well as their descriptions.



*|FH| HQ: |FH| HQ is the team page that shows a list of people who are in |FH|. So far |FH| is broken up into two fireteams, Alpha and Bravo. More information will come about this at a later date.

*Member Ranks: This has been talked about for a while, but never really got off the ground. The system is there as with the images, but you won't see any ranks yet until we can work out an effective system.

*Medals: Medals are awarded after events to players who have proved themselves in combat. More information about this will come later on.

These are a few updates that have been added on the site. More updates will come later.

P.S. I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and to make the most out of 2008. It's a brand new year and hopefully we can get to some major events.

Use the site. That's why we have it. We want to keep this site moving along so please check it often. A lot of updates will be posted on this site regarding airsoft, and if you are to order something airsoft related online, feel free to make a topic and tell us on here. It doesn't hurt to let everyone know when you've ordered something new. (Like zarcone's m203 shell and phil's new pistol.) What I'm really trying to say is that this site won't be successful if it isn't being used. All I'm asking is that you stop in every now and then to see what's up. Try to build a community up on this site, and who knows where it will go.
